Michael This is affirmed to be last will and testament of Anne Clark alias Cowle of the parish of KK Michael who departed this life on the 29th day of June 1786 she being weak in body but of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding at the making hereof in manner and form following: Imp - She committed her soul to Almighty God and her body to Christian burial. Item: She bequeathed and left unto her daughter Mary Clark the sum of five pounds and a blue gown and blue petticoat and a black gown and black petticoat two checked aprons and her shoes and stockings. Item she left unto her daughter Elinor Clark the sum of five pounds a green gown petticoat her cloak her best silk hat and cotton checked apron. Item: she left unto her daughter Margaret Clark the sum of five pounds a brown gown a petticoat a checked apron and her other silk hat and she left her head clothes and ribbands equally between her said two daughters Elinor and Margaret before named. Item She left unto her son Thomas Clark the sum of four pounds. Item She left unto her son William Clark the sum of twenty shillings. Item she left unto her son Daniel Clark the sum of twenty shillings. Finally she nominated constituted and appointed her loving husband Patrick Clark whole and sole executor of all the rest of her goods chattels and effect movable and immoveable of what kind or denomination soever hereby debarring and excluding all other claimers with a shilling each legacy together with a shilling each to the witnesses of my last will and testament. Witnesses present: Patrick Cannel his X mark John Cain his X mark Jurati At a Chapter Court holden at KK Michael Nov 9th 1786 The executor is sworn in court in form of law and also guardian and supervisor of the children under age and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and legacies namely the witnesses of the will.
