In the name of God Amen
I Margaret Craine als Quay of KK German being sick and weak in body but
of perfect mind and memory thanks be to God and calling to mind the
uncertainty of human life and to avoid disputes after my decease do
make this my last will and testament in manner and form following:
First I commend my soul to God and my body to Christian burial. Secondly
I leave and bequeath unto my son Hugh the sum of one Hundred pounds and a
furnished feather bed and whatsoever more was left him by his father and
uncles is to be included to him in this legacy.
Thirdly I leave unto my daughter Ann the sum of twenty d also a
furnished feather bed and the half of all my apparel and the half of the
cattle of my part of the farm.
Fourthly I leave unto my daughter Catharine the sum of twenty pounds
also a furnished feather bed and the half of all my apparel and the half of
the cattle of my part of the farm.
Fifthly I leave to the poor people of the parish of German five bowles of
barley which is to be divided amongst them at May next.
Sixthly I leave unto Margaret Craine my son William's daughter the sum
of two guineas.
Lastly I constitute nominate and appoint my son William to be the whole
executor of the rest of my goods moveable or immoveable what kinds soever to
be his right and property and I do exclude debar all other
persons with six pence legacy who shall sue to the contrary hereof. Witness
my subscription this the 4th August 1786.
