COWLEY, William 1788-1 Mic E d Kirk Michael 1788 At a Chapter Court holden at KK Michael on the 9th day of June 1788 - William Cowley of the Close in the parish of KK Michael having departed this life on or about the 16th day of March last part intestate and this court having intelligence thereof have decreed his eight children namely William, Joh, Patrick, Nicholas, Thomas, Catharine, Ann, and Margaret Cowley joint administrators of all and singular his goods chattels and effects movable and immovable whatever - And the said William and John only being present in court - They are thereupon sworn well and truly to administer the said estate, to pay all the just debts of the intestate so far forth as the said goods and effects will extend and the law shall bind them and to be faithful and just each to the other as also to their absent co-administrators in the division of residuum of the said estate. To which ends they have given pledges in form of law namely David Cowley and Thomas Cannell (Bark) both of the parish of KK Michael DECRETUM EST Ev. Christian
