At a Consistory Court holden in the Court house in the Parish of Kirk Michael 
on Friday the eighteenth Day of May in the Year of our Lord One Thousand 
Seven Hundred and Ninety two.

Cæsar Parr of Peeltown, Gentleman, having departed this Life in or about the 
latter End of the Month of April last past Intestate and this Court having 
received Intelligence thereof have Decreed his next of Kin, namely Margaret 
Cowin al.s Christian al.sParr his Sister, and James Quirk, Philip Quirk, 
Nicholas Quirk, Elinor Quirk als Quirk and Ann Kneale als Quirk the 
Representation of Mary Quirk als Parr their Mother dec.d another Sister of 
the said Intestate, and Elinor Shimin als Leece and Margaret Clucas al.s 
Leece the Representation of Anne Leece als Parr their Mother dec.d another 
sister of the said Intestate, and Cæsar Crane, John Crane, James Crane, 
Radcliffe Crane, Thomas Crane, William Crane, Jane Lee als Crane, Margery 
Crane, and Catharine Crane these Representations of Margery Crane als 
Parr their Mother dec.d another Sister of the said Intestate joint Administrators 
according to Law of all and singular the Goods, Rights, Credits, Chattels and 
Effects of the said Intestate, But it being alledged by some of the said 
Administrators and also by some of the principal Creditors of the said 
Intestate that his personal Estate and Assets are not sufficient for the 
Payment of his just Debts, and that commiting the Administration thereof to all 
the said Administrators may be productive of many Inconveniences as well to 
the said Admors as to the said Creditors, and it being recommended to the 
Court to commit the said Administration to the said James Quirk one of the 
said Admors – The Court upon Consideration thereof as also of what was 
otherwise pleaded agreed alledged and admited by and on Behalf of the said 
Admors and Creditors respectively do commit the Administration of all and 
singular the \goods, Rights, Credits, Chattels and Effects of the said Cæsar 
Parr to the said James Quirk in Trust for the said Administration and the well 
and the Creditors of the said Intestate, and he is thereupon sworn well and 
truly to administer the same, to inventory, appraise and sell by public Auction 
to the best Advantage the whole personal Estate and Assets of the said 
Intestate, to exhibit a full true and perfect Inventory and Accounts Sale thereof 
into the Registry of this Court, to pay all the said Intestate's just Debts as far 
forth as his Goods and Effects will extend and the Law bind and to be 
accountable for his said Administration when thereunto required by this Court, 
and to these Ends he hath given Pledges in Form of Law, namely John 
Taubman of the Nunnery Esquire and Curwen Dobinson now of the Parish of 
Kirk Michael
