In the Name of God Amen-----
I Emma Callow wife to William Callow of the Town of Douglas Duly
recollecting the uncertainty of this Transitory life being of Sound mind
and memory and in Bodily health do publish & declare as follows to be my
last Will & Testament -----
First   I Committ my Soul to Almighty God and my Body to Christian Burial-----
Secondly        I Leave and Bequeath to my Son George Callow all my right to the
house and back houses at the Sandside which my Father Silvestor Halsal
purchased from the late Paul Kelley, my right or half of the old house &
back houses (wherein my sd Father did live) Three Gardens near Cornea Milln
in the parrish of KK maughold, a house in Dougs Called by name Huey the
weavers & another house by name called Molly Kaghins to be possessed by him
after--the longest liver of Either my husband or I— & not before-----
Thirdly I Leave and Bequeath to my son William all they houses yard or
haggart at the Sandside Called Closes Jas (?)   also a Garden adjoyning the
Same, to be possessed by him after the Death of the longest liver of Either
my husband or I & not before -----
Fourthly        I leave and Bequeath to my Son Silvester and my Daughter Elizabath
(Equally between them) the house that I now live in,   The house that my
husband purchased from James Alexander--with all the yards & back houses
belong: to the same, to be possessed by them after the Death of the longest
liver of Either my husband or I & not before
Fifthly I Leave and bequeath to my Daughter Mary Anderson als Callow thirty
pounds British which is to be paid her after the Death of the longest liver
of Either my husband or I & not before
Sixthly I Leave and Bequeath to my Daughter Sophey the house and Concerns
in Dougs called by name James & ElizabthTaggarts house to be possessed by
her after the Death of the longest liver of Either my husband or I and not
before
Seventhly       I Leave and Bequeath to my Daughter Amelia the house and
Concerns in Douglass Called Corletts old house to be possessed by her after
the Death of the longest liver of Either my husband or I and not before
Eighthly        I Leave and Bequeath to my Daughter Jane Crebbin als Callow the
Little meadow at the Boolreney River to be possessed by her after the death
of the longest liver of Either my husband or I and not before
Ninthly I Leave and Bequeath to my Daughter Ann my right of the little
Corna Milln   Killn Millan house & Garden of the parrish of KK Concan to be
possessed by her after the Death of the longest liver of Either my husband
or I & not before
Tenthly I Leave and Bequeath to my Daughter Cathn Genest als Callow five
Guineas and five Guineas to her Son Lewes which is to be paid them after
the death of the longest liver of Either my husband or I and not before
Eleventhly      I Leave Six pence Legacy to all Lawfull Claimers
Twelthly & Lastly I Nominate Constitute and appoint my beloved husband
whole and Sole Executor of all the rest of my Goods Chattles or Effects
moveable & Imoveable of what kind or nature Soever in Witness whereof I
have hereunto Subscribed my name this 10th day decr 1791

At a Consistory Court holden in the Parish of Kk Patrick on the Eleventh
Day of September in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and
Ninety two
The Executor is sworn in Court in Form of Law and hath given Pledges for
the Payment of Debts andLlegacies namely James Lawson and Nicholas Quirk
the Witnesses of this Will. He is also sworn Guardian and supervisor of his
Daughter Ann who is under age.
