The last will and testament of Isabel Lace of Ballasear in the Parish of KK Andreas who 
departed this life on or about the 16th day of October 1792 and being of a sound mind and 
good memory at the making thereof______
First; She committed her soul to God and Body to Christian burial
Item: She left and bequeathed to her son Joseph Lace the sum of forty shillings and a s
heet and so be that a cow would not come to his share in his dividend of his father's 
goods (To whose will he was joint executor with his brother William Lace). She left him 
that part ___ wound be short and a feather bed with its cloaths and bedstead in the same 
manner that he would have a cow and a feather bed  with its cloaths between his father 
and her the testator.
Item: She left and bequeathed to her two grandchildren namely Charles Lace and Isabel 
Lace a sheep each as legacy.
Item: She left and bequeathed to her grand daughter Margaret Lace her little spinning 
wheel as legacy
Item: She left and bequeathed to Judy Cormode a Blue gown, a stamped bed gown and a 
suit of Laced caps as legacy.
Item : She left and bequeathed to An Lace her new Cloak and to Margaret Knean her 
black gown as legacy.
Lastly She nominated and appointed her son William Lace whole and sole executor of all                    
the rest of her goods chattels and effects of what nature or denomination so ever.
