Margaret & Patrick Kewley, 1793

In the Name of God Amen I Patrick Kewley of Gretch Voar in the parish of KK
Lonan with the joint consent of Margaret Kewley my wife who are both Infirm
and in our declining years, But being of sound disposing mind memory &
understanding and for avoiding all disputes after my or her decease Do make
declare and publish this my or her last will and Testament in manner & form
following,
first of all we give and bequeath unto our son Patrick Kewley six pence at
my or her decease
We Give and bequeath unto our daughter Margaret Kewley six pence at my or
her decease
We give and bequeath unto our Daughter Isabel Christian a feather Bed in
like manner
We give and bequeath unto our son in law Daniel Christian the Best Coat
Lastly we nominate and appoint the longest liver of either of us the said
Patrick Kewley and Margaret Kewley my wife whole and Sole Execr or Exectrx
of the other
And do likewise give and bequeath unto our two Daughters Margaret and
Isabel all the rest of my or her Goods and Effects after both our decease.
In witness whereof our names are hereunto subscribed this 9th May 1769

At a Chapter Court holden at Douglas June 9th 1790

Patrick Kewley one of the Testators having departed this life Margaret
Kewley the Surviving Testatrix is sworn Exrx [ in ] Court in form of Law
and hath given Pledges for the payment of Debts & Legacies namely the
Witnesses of the will
                                     Probatum est
                                         Thos Cubbon


At a Chapter Court holden at Douglas June 11th [.....] Margt Kewley the
Surviving Testator having departed this Life, Thos Cowin husband [ of ?]
Margaret & Daniel Christian husband of Isabel [.....] within named Exors
are sworn in Court in form of Law & [..?..] to be true & just the one to
the other [.....] the division of the Effects & have given Pledges for the
payment of Debts & Legacies namely Thos Myleroi & Thos Cowen
