		Ballaugh May 17th.1794.
The last Will and Testament of William Corlet 
of Ballamoaney.beg in the said Parish. 
First.:He Committed his Soul to God and Body 
to Christian Burial.~ He Bequeathed to Margaret 
Moore Widow in Sulby in the Parish of KK Christ 
Lezayre the sum of Ten Shillings.~ 
He Willed to Margaret Craine Widow of John Craine, 
Elizabeth Boddaugh, Widow of Thomas Boddaugh,
Jane Kneen Widow of Thomas Kneen and Joney 
Kneen Widow of John Kneen All of Ballaugh 
the sum of Ten Shillings each. 
He Bequeathed to the Wardens of the Parish of 
Ballaugh for the time being, in trust for the use 
of the said Parish, the sum of Thirty Pounds to 
be laid out at Interest And the Intered thereof 
to be appropriated towards purchasing the 
Sacremental Elements of Bread & Wine for the use 
of the said parish yearly for ever. And he declared 
that it was his earnest intention, will and desire 
that the Inhabitants of Our Parishes proprietors 
of Lands in Ballaugh, should in Consideration of 
this his Donation be excused And exempted from 
paying any Assessment or Consideration whatever 
towards the said Elements of Bread and Wine for the 
use of the Sacrament in the said parish of Ballaugh 
for ever. And that the Interest of the said sum should 
be yearly Applied towards the use and purpose before 
mentioned, at Whitsuntide, October and Christmas 
Sacramental Occasions only And to no Other use 
or purpose whatever. 
He Willed to his son Thomas the Clock in the 
dwelling House And the Chest in the Kiln. 
He Bequeathed to his Daughters Mary and Isabel 
Five Pounds each. 
And lastly He Willed and left unto his Daughters 
Catherine and Margaret All and every the rest 
residue And remainder of his Goods Chattels, Credits 
And Effects whatever, whom he Also Nominated 
Constituted and Appointed joint Executrixes 
of this his last Will And Testament.

At a Chapter Court holden at KK Michael July 1st.1794 
The Executrixes are sworn in Court in form of Law 
as oho to be true & just the one to the other in the 
division of th Effects & have given Pledges for 
the payment of Debts & Legacies namely the 
Witnesses of the Will	Probatum est

Margaret Craine Elizabeth Boddaugh, Jane 
Kneen and Joney Kneen Legatees in the before 
going Will of William Corlett acknowledge to 
have received the Legacy of Ten Shillings 
bequeathed to each of them respectively and 
exonorate acquit and discharge the Executees.& 
every other person of the same ye.very part 
thereof~ Witness their marks to their names

of the beforegoing Will of William Corlett decd.the 
sum of Thirty pounds bequeathed to said parish 
for the purposes of paying for the Sacramental 
Elements and exonerate acquit and discharge 
the sd.Executrices of these same & every part thereof
