In the name of God, Amen, I Thos Skillicorn (of Skinscoe) being weak in
Body but of sound memory — and Considering the uncertainty of life — do
make and publish these presents to contain my last will and testament in
manner as follows
That is to say
I give and bequeath unto my son James the sum of twelve and three pounds
I give and bequeath unto my son Thos all my cloathes & apparels together
with the sum of twelve shillings & three pence
I give unto my son John the sum of twelve shillings & three pence
Also I give & bequeath unto my daughters Eleanor Isabella and Jane the
further sums of twelve shillings & three pence to each of them
I give unto my grandson (John) a sheep
Also I give Cathrine Kewley my servant the sum of five shillings British
I give unto Wm Callow my brown waring Coat & blue waistcoat And
Lastly I do Appoint my daughter Margaret sole Executrix of all & singular
goods, credits, chattles & Effects whatsoever seized Interested of in or
unto at the time of my decease at the same time excluding & debaring all
persons claiming or to claim by and with the sum of six pence hereby
revoking all former wills etc
