In the Name of God Amen
This is affirmed to be the last will and Testament of Elizabeth Skillicorn
Alese Corran who Died on the 12th day of June 1794 last past and who was at
the time of Declaring hereof weak in Body but of a sound and Disposing mind
Memory and understanding
First shee resigned her soul to god almighty and her Body to Christian
Buriell   And as to her worly Goods & Effects she Disposed of them in
manner following
That is to say ~ Shee left and Bequathed unto her Elder son John Skillicorn
Five Pounds
Secondly Shee left and bequeathed unto her second son William Skillicorn
Fifteen Pounds
Thirdly Shee left and bequeath unto Robert Skillicorn Fifteen Pounds
Fourthly   shee left and Bequeath unto her Daughter Margrett Skillicorn
Twenty Five Pounds
Fifthly   She left and Bequeath unto her Daughter Elizabeth Skillicorn
Twenty Five pounds
Sixthly Shee left and Bequeath unto her house searvents meades her caps of
muslen
Lastly she Nominated Constituted and Appointed her Loving Husband Executor
of this her last will and Testament
The before named Testator Elizabeth Skillicorn Duly Declared and Published
the Before going Will and Testaments our presents and Desired us to be
witness hereof

At a Court holden in the Court house in the Parish of Kirk Patrick on the
26th Day of September 1794
Notwithstanding this will is only probed by one Witness yet as the same
hath been openly published in Court and no Objection offered thereto it is
accepted as and for the Last Will and Testamt of Elizabeth Skillecorn the
Testatrix and John Skillicorn the Widower and executor therein named is
thereupon sworn Exor thereof as also Guardian and Supervisor or the
Testatrix's Children who are under Age and hath given Pledges to the
Payment of Debts and Legacies namely William Corran his Father in Law and
Matthias Corran his Brother in Law
The said Matthias Corran and John Skillicorn uncles to the said Children on
their Mother's Side are likewise sworn their guardians and Supervisors
