60        Michael 1794
This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of William Cannell and
Catharine his wife of the parish of KK Michael who were of sound mind
and memory at the time they declared the same being the 25th day of Nov
1794.
They leave and bequeathed to their son Thomas Cannell a heifer and the one
half of the sheep that may remain in the family at the decease of the
survivor of them.
They left and bequeathed to their daughter Ann Skillicorn the sum of five
pounds ­ to their grandchild Catharine Skillicorn the sum of five pounds
- to Christian Cannell their daughter in law a spinning wheel and to
Catharine Cannell their grandchild a spinning wheel.
Item They left and bequeathed to their daughter Margaret Shimmin a furnished
feather bed, the clock, and five pounds.
Item They left devised and bequeathed to the survivor of them the testators
that parcel of lands purchased by them from Robert Corlett of the parish of
Ballaugh commonly called Corneilny Killiagh to be disposed
of by the said survivor he or she may think proper
And they also nominated constituted and appointed the survivor of them the
testators whole and sole executor or executrix of the their last will and
testament and also residuary legatee of the remainder of all and singular
their goods and effects whatever.
Item They left to the witnesses of this will a shilling each and they
declared that none of the aforesaid legacies was to paid till after the
decease of the survivor of them.

At a Chapter Court holden at KK Michael June 22nd 1795.  Cath Cannel
one of the testators having departed this life William Cannell the
survivor is sworn Executor in court in form of law and hath given
pledges for the payment of debts and legacies namely John Quiggin and Thos
Cannell both of the KK Michael
