            At a Chapter Court holden at Lezayre on the 23d 
			day of June 1795

William Kaneen of the parish of Kk Andreas 
Bachelor having departed this life about five years 
ago, and not having been heard of or from since 
it is presumed he died Intestate. The Court 
having received intelligence thereof hath Decreed 
his next of kin namely James Brew Administrator 
of all and singular his Goods, Rights, Credits, 
Chattles and Effects movable and immovable 
whatever that are within this Diocese.  He is thereupon 
sworn well and truly to administer the Estate of his 
Intestate, to exhibit into the Registry of this Court a full, 
true and perfect inventory thereof, and to pay all his 
just debts so far forth as his Goods and Effects will 
extend and the Law shall bind him – to which Ends 
he hath given pledges in form of Law namely, James 
Clarke and Robert Stevenson both of the parish of 
Lezayre.
