Rushen At a Chapter Court holden at Castletown on the 21st day of June 1797. Mary Gawn als Nelson of the parish of Trinity Rushen departed this life on or about the 8th day of May last past intestate and this court having received intelligence thereof that decreed her children namely John and Jane Gawn co-administrators of all and singular her goods chattels and effects moveable and immoveable whatever Isabella another child of the intestate having (as is aledged) been provided for by Marriage Articles. The said John and Thomas Kermode husband of the said Jane are thereupon sworn well and truly to administer the estate their intestate to exhibit a true and perfect inventory thereof into the Registry of this court to pay all the just debts of the intestate so far forth as her goods and effects will extend and the law shall bind them, and to be faithful and just each to the other in the division of the residuum of the said estate to which ends they have given pledges in form of law namely William Clucas and John Waterson both of the parish of Rushen.
