The last Will and Testamt of Mary Kermod als Skillicorn of the parish of KK
Lonon who died August 15th 1797 which she declared a little before her
Death being then sick and Weak, but of a sound disposing Mind and Memory
she first committed her Soul to God & Body to Christian Burial, as for her
Worldy Goods she left and bequeathed them in the manner following
She left and bequeathed Twenty Shillings to the Poor of the parish to be
divided among them
She left and Bequeathed to her son, John Kermod Twenty pounds
She left and bequeather to her son Wm Kermod her Right or part of the Sheep
pasturing at home
She left her best Blue Gown to Mary Skillicorn
She left and bequeathed to Ann Skillicorn her other blue gown
She left and bequeathed to Ann Kermod her Daughter in law her red Gown
And lastly she Nominated and appointed her loving Husband William Kermod
whole and sole Executor of all the rest of her Goods and Effects or
Chattels of what kind or Nature soever

At a Chapter Court holden at Douglas 2d Novr 1797 The Exor is sworn in
Court in form of Law and hath given pledges for the paymt of Debts and
Legacies namely the witnesses of this will
