59     Jurby
The last will and testament of Mr. William Christian 
of Ballamore in the parish of Jurby, 
who was in perfect mind and memory 
at the making thereof. 
First, he committed his soul to God 
and his body to Christian burial. 
Secondly, he left unto his two sisters 
Mrs. Cath Moore and Mrs. Ann Moore and 
unto his two nieces Mrs. Hester Clark 
and Mrs. Ann Cosnahan all of Douglas 
one guinea each. 
Lastly, he nominated constituted and 
appointed Mr. Robert Farrant and Margaret 
his wife whole and sole executors 
and residuary legatees of this his 
will hereby excluding any other person 
who may pretend any further right 
thereto with six pence legacy. 
In testimony whereof he hath 
subscribed his name and affixed 
his seal this 23rd day of January 1797.
