80    Maughold
The last will and testament of Ewan Kerruish of the parish of KK
Maughold made this 21st of June 1778 being at perfect mind and memory at the
making hereof.
First He committed his soul to Almighty God and his body to Christian
burial.
He left to his son Willm five shillings British.
He left to his daughter Isabel one guinea.
He left to his three grandchildren Wm, Catherine and Ann Kerruish one guinea
to buy lambs or yearlings for them.
He left to his son Robert Three guineas and his part of the sheep.
He left to his son John his bed after the decease of his wife.
He left to his loving wife one cow and his part of the riding horse and a
chest.
And to all cravers he left six pence legacy.
To the witnesses of the will one shilling British each.
Lastly he nominated constituted and appointed his loving wife Ann and
his son John whole and joint executors of the rest of goods and effects
moveable and immoveable of what kind or nature soever.

At a Chapter Court holden at Lezayre June 13th 1799.  The executors are
sworn in court in form of law and to be true and just the one to the other
in the division of the effects and have given pledges for the payment of
debts and legacies namely Robert Corteen and Wm Kerruish the
witnesses of the will.            Probatum Est
