42  Rushen  The 23rd of April 1799
In the name of God, Amen. I William Crebbin  
of the parish of KK Christ Rushen  being at 
present weak in body but of sound mind and 
memory and calling to mind the uncertainty 
of human life do make this my last will and 
testament in hereby revoking all former wills 
in manner following. 
First, I commit my soul to God and my body 
to Christian burial to be decently interred 
at the direction of my Executors hereafter mentioned.  
Secondly, I leave and bequeath to my son 
William five shillings, to my daughter Jane 
five shillings, to my daughter Margrett five 
shillings, to my daughter Elendar five shillings 
and to my daughter Cathrine five shillings.  
Thirdly and lastly, I nominate constitute and 
appoint my loving wife Joney Crebbin alias 
Taylor sole executor of all my goods and effects 
moveable and immoveable of what kind soever 
hereby depriving any other person or persons 
who will claim with six pence legacy.

At a Chapter Court holden at 
Castletown Oct 30, 1799: 
The Executor is sworn in Court in form of Law 
& also guardian and supervisor of the children 
underage & hath given pledges for the payment 
of debts and legacies namely Henry Waterson 
and Henry Karrin both of Rushen.
