The last will and testament of William
Cannal of the parrish of Kirk Christ rushen
Who Departed this life the 13th of Feby 1800
First He committed his Soul to Almighty god and
His body to a Christian burial ~
Item He Left and bequeathed to his Son Thos. Cannal
The sum of one pound one Shilling Brittish
Item He bequeathed to a  Claimers five shillings
Brittish Legacies Each ~
Lastly he nominated constituded and appointed 
His loving son William Cannal whole and Sole
Execetor of all the rest of his goods moveable
And imoveable whatsoever ~
Witnesses

Richard Kinley my X Jur

At a Chapter Court holden at Castletown June 19th 1800
Notwithstanding this will is proved but by one 
Witness yet as no objection has been offered the 
Exor is sworn in Court in form of Law and
hath given Pledges for the payment of Debts
& Legacies namely Richard Kinley the Witness 
& John Gell of Rushen
