In the Name of God Amen
I Mary Skillicorn wife of James Skillicorn of
the Town of Douglas being weak in body but of
A good Disposing mind memory and understanding
Doth think of the uncertainty of this mortal life
Doth make my Last will and testament in a
Manner as followeth viz.

First.  I Commit my Soul to Almighty God and my
after Death to a Deasent Christian burial
hoping Through the Hand of our Beloved Saviour
for a joyful resurrection .  As for my worldly goods
I Leave and bequeath as followeth---

Secondly.  I Leave and bequeath unto our son George the
sum of five shillings British.  I Leave and bequeath
unto our Daughter Elenor the sum of five shillings
British.  I Leave and bequeath unto our Daughter
Catherine the sum of five shillings British. I 
Leave sixpence Legacy to Each Lawful claimer.
Lastly I Nommenate Leave order and appoint
My Loving husband James Skillicorn to be whole 
And Sole Executor of all the rest of my worldly goods
  all
of ^ kinds and nature whatsoever and this I Do
Acknowledge to be my Last Will and Testament.
