I John Sayle of Ballamenagh in this parish of KK Michael being in sound mind
memory and understanding and takeing into consideration the uncertainty of
this life do make this my last will and testament in manner following ---
FIRST - I commit my soul to God and my body to be decently buried - Also I
leave and bequeath to my six sons namely John, Daniel, Wm, Philip, Henry,
and Thos Sayle one shilling to each of them -
Also I leave and bequeath to my son Philip Sayle aforesaid a peace of cloth
that is in the dye house ---
Also I leave and bequeath to my daughter Ann Sayle one shilling.
Also I leave and bequeath to my daughter Jane a chest and a cupboard. Lastly
I nominate constitute and appoint my wife Catherine Sayle otherwise Tear
sole executor of all the rest of any goods chattels and effects moveable and
immoveable of what nature soever hereby revoking all former wills by me an
time there before made ratifying and no other to be my last will and
testamony And do hereby and by these presents cutting off other claimers
with six pence legacy each.  Witness where of I have caused my name here
unto set this 27th day of Nov 1800. Witness present:  Phillip Quiggin and

At a Chapter Court holden at KK Michael Jun 22d 1801.
The executor is sworn in Court in form of Law and hath given pledges for the
payment of debts and and legacies namely the witnesses of the will. Probatum
est     Thomas Cubbon

I Jane Sayle daughter of the within testator John Sayle do hereby
acknowledge to have received the chest or cubboard bequeathed and I do
hereby acquit release or discharge the executor of the last will and
testament of said John Sayle of all claim and demands for the same witness
my mark to my name this 19th Aug 1803      Jane Sayle her x mk Before Me
