    In the name of God amen. I Judy Lawson wife
    of Anthony Lawson of the town of Douglas being
    sick and weak in body but of perfect and sound
    mind and memory and calling to mind the mortality
    of any body knowing that it is appointed for all
    men once to die, do make and appoint this my
    last will and testament, to be disposed of in
    the way and manner following.
First I commit my sould to God and body to a
    decent christian burial
2ndly I leave and bequeath unto my daughter Alice
    Lawson my half of my dwelling house wherein
    I now resides with the back gard and all its appur=
    =tenances to be possessed by her at my deceas.
3rdly I leave and bequeath the sum of one sixpence legacy
    to any person or persons that shall claim any right or
    title to this my said will.
Lastly I nominate constitutre and appoint my daught=
    =er the aforesaid Alice Lawson whole and sole Executor
    of all the rest of my wordly goods be they of what kind or
    nature soever and this I affirm to be my last will and 
    testatment the 11th day of December 1799.

       The Exorx is sworn in Court in form of
   law & hath given pledges for the payment   
   of debts & legacies namely the witnessess of 
   the will.
