In the Name of God Amen I Ann Kewley als Fargher of the Parish of Kk Lonon
who am in my Declining Years weak and Infirm [.....] Body and do also
consider the Uncertainty of this Life Knowing that I may soon be called by
Death (Do see it fit in Order to prevent all Disputes after my decease)
commit my Soul to God and Dispose of my worldly Effects by this my last
Will & Testamt in this manner following
First I leave and Bequeath to my Eldest Son James Kewley my part of half of
the Crop and Team to be Enjoy'd and possessed at hollentide next Ensuing my
Decease and that he the sd Jams Kewley doth in consideration hereof Pay
unto his Brother Wm Kewley the Sum of Ten pounds
I leave and bequeath to my son John Kewley my Part of the sheep that
Paastures at Gheallyn roie to be possess'd by him at hollentide next
Ensuing my Decease
I leave and Bequeath to my son Wm Kewley my Part the Sheep pasturing in the
Fields at the time aforesd after my decease
I leave and Bequeath to my Eldest Daughter Elinor Kewley three pounds
I leave and bequeath to my Daughter Jane Kewley als Killip Eight Pounds and
further Leave half a Crown Legacy to any Person or Persons that may claim a
just right to my Effects after my Decease
And lastly Do nominate and appoint my loving Husband John Kewley whole and
sole Executor of all the rest of my Goods and Effects movable and immovable
of what kind or Nature soever ­ Witness my Name & Mrk the 12th of March 1801

At a Chapter Court holden at Douglass June 17 th 1801 The Exr is Sworn in
Court in form of Law & hath given Pledges for the payment of Debts &
Legacies namely Robt Craine & Thos Quark the witness both of Lonan
