	In the Name of God Amen 
I Mary Cannell widow in the Kerrooglass in the 
Parish of KK Michael being now in my declining 
years of age thinking on the shortness and uncertainty 
of this Mortal life and unwilling that any Dispute 
should arise amongst my Children after my Decease 
Do Make my last will and Testament in manner 
following 
First she Committed her soul to god and body to 
Christian burial 
Secondly she bequeathed to her son 
John Cannell the sum of Eight Pounds as legacy 
a Part of a sum of Twenty seven Pounds which 
he the aforesd.John Cannell he stands Indebted 
to her Item she leave and bequeathed to her Daughter 
Isabel Maxsel my best Feather bed and my best 
Bolster 
	She leave and bequeath to her neece 
Mary Ann Barkley of the Town of Liverpool 
The sum of Three Pounds ten shillings all these 
sums above mentioned in according to the 
Currency of this Isle 
	She leave and bequeath to her niece 
Namely Margret and Ann Cannell the sum 
of Two Pounds Manks Currency of this Isle 
to be Equaly between them 

She leave and bequeath to her neice Maly? 
Quine the sum of Two Pounds 
	She leave and bequeath to her son 
Thos.Cannell a herring Cask 
	I leave and bequeath to the Two witnesses 
The sum of one shilling to Each witness 
	Lastly she Nominate and appoint 
my Daughter Christian Caine als Cannell 
Whole and sole Excutrx.of all other persons 
or Persons that will Claim any right or 
in this my last will and Testament with 
Pence legacy Decr.the 2d.1801

I John Cannell do hereby acknowledge to be fully paid and 
satisfied the Sum of Eight pounds bequeathed me by the last will 
& Testamt.of Mary Cannell & the further Sum of two pounds 
bequeathed unto my two Daughters Margt.& Ann Cannell & 
I do hereby acquit release exonerate & discharge Christian 
Cain Exorx.of the last will & Testament of sd.Mary Cannell of 
all claims & demands for or on account of sd.Legacies 
he witnesses my mark to my Name this 21.June
