            Lonan
At an Eccl Court holden in the parish of K Patrick on the 5th day of
February 1802.
The Reverend Samuel Gell Vicar of the parish of KK Lonan having
departed this life on or about the tenth day of the month of January last
past intestate and this court having received intelligence thereof hath
decreed his four children namely the Rev John Gell, Margaret, Elinor, and
Isabel Gell co-administrators of all and singular the goods rights credits
chattels and effects movable and immoveable whatever and John Brew husband
of the said Margaret being absent from court and John Brew husband of the
said Elinor and John Thorp husband of the said Isable
being off the island. He the said John Gell is thereupon sworn well and
truly to administer the estate of the said intestate to inventory appraise
and select the same by public auction to the best advantages to exhibit a
full true and perfect inventory and account to sell thereof into the
Episcopal Registry to pay all the just debts of the said intestate so far
forth as his goods and effects will extend and the law bind him and to be
fair true and just accounts of his said administration when thereunto
lawfully required and to these ends he hath given pledges in form of law
namely John Quine of the K Patrick and Samuel Skillicorn of  Kirk Onchan.
