In the name of god Amen. This the 25th of Septr 1803
The last will and testament of Thos Tear of the
parish of Jurby who being old and feeble in body but
by the blessing of god of sound mind and memory do
make and ordain this his last will and testament that
is to say principally and first of all he gave and
recomended his soul to god and his body to decent
christian burial.
Also he left and bequeathed to his son Ceaser the best coat
Also he left and bequeathed to his sons Danl: & Philip all
the rest of his apparels equally between them
Also he left and bequeathed to his said daughter Jane otherwise Tear
Lawson half a crown.
Also he left and bequeathed to his daughter Isabel half crown
Also he left and bequeathed to his daughter Judy half crown
Also he left and bequeathed to his daughter Margaret half crown
Also he left and bequeathed to his daughter Cathrine Tear otherwise
Kelley the halfer called the big black halfer
Also he left and bequeathed and devised to his loving
wife namely Isabel Tear all his right and title to his goods
chattles and effects of whatever nature and also nominated
constituted an appointed and ordained his said wife Isabel
whole executor this his last will and testatment. Also six
pence for any person that will claim. In this his will and
testament. Also shilling apiece for the winesses
pronounced and declared by the testator as his last will

   The Exorx is sworn in Court in form of
law & hath given pledges for the payment
of debts & legacies namely the witnesses of
