65 1804 Lezayre This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of William Quayle senior of Blockairy within the parish of KK Christ Lezayre being in health and of perfect mind and memory at the makeing hereof on the 1st day of November 1788 and then writen. FIRST He comited his soul to God and his body to Christian burial. ITEM He left and bequeathed to his daughter Catharine thirty shillings. ITEM To his daughter Joney wife of William Kewish he left five shillings and to his daughter Jane he left thirty shillings and to his daughter Mary he left five shillings these four legacies are not to be paid till after the death of his loveing wife. ITEM To his son John he left ten shillings and to his grandson Patrick Caley he left 15 shillings and he further left his foresaid daughter Catherine a sheep and a lamb. And to the witnesses of this his will he left fourteen pence apiece. LASTLY He nominated appointed and ordained his son Nicholas Quayle whole and sole executor of all the rest of his goods and chatles moveable and immoveable whatsoever. At Chapter Court holden at Lezayre June 20th 1804 notwithstanding this will is proved but by one witness yet at no objection has been offered the executor is sworn in form of law and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and legacies namely William Corkill the witness and John Crow both of Lezayre.
