53 Jurby In the name of God Amen. The 30th day of June 1801. I Isable Kewin (widow) of the parish of Jurby being old and feeble in body but of sound mind and memory do make and ordain this my late will and testament, that is to say, principally and first of all, I give and recommend my soul into the hands of Almighty God and my body to the earth to be buried in decent Christian burial. And as touching such worldly estate as it has pleased God to bless me with in this life. I leave and bequeath the same in the following manner and form: First to my son Daniel I leave and bequeath the sum of fourteen pounds and and in calf heifer. Also to my son Patrick I leave and bequeath the sum of one pound four shillings and six pence. Also to my son Philip I leave and bequeath the sum of one pound four shillings and six pence. Also to my daughter Isable I leave and bequeath the sum of one pound four shillings and six pence. Also to my son Robert I leave and bequeath the sum of one pound four shillings and six pence. Also I leave and bequeath to my said daughter Isable a blue gown, a black gown, and a linsey woolsey gown. Lastly I leave and bequeath to my son Thomas Kewin all the rest of my goods chattels and effects of whatsoever nature and denomination. I likewise constitute appoint and ordain sole executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto caused my name and mark to be set the day and year first above written. Isabel Kewin my mark x Signed and delivery by the testatrix as her last will and testament in presence of us. John Stephen my mark x Andrew Joughin Jurati 19 Jun 1804 Executor sworn with pledges being witnesses. Patrick Kewin, Thos Corlett, and Philip Kewin received legacies 8 Jun 1805. Daniel Kewin received sum of fourteen pounds and calf heifer on 10 Aug 1825.
