8 Braddan April 26th 1805 The Last Will and Testament of Thos Creer of Ballnysligg in the Parish of Braddan, who being infirm and weak in bodily health. But of sound and perfect mind and memory at the making Thereof Did make and appoint his last Will and Testament in manner and form following - First he commites his Soul unto Almighty God who gave it and his body to Christian burial He left and bequeathed unto his children Namely, Edward, William, Thomas, Daniel Paul, Philip and Elizabeth a Sheep each or apiece He left unto his son Robert the one half of the remains of his Effects. He left sixpence apiece Legacy to any other per- son or persons that might claim any Just Right or Title to this his said Will Lastly, He Nominated and appointed his beloved Wife Mary Creer alias Caralaugh Whole and sole Executrix of all the Remainder of his Effects Moveable and immoveable of whatsoever kind or Denomination. The above delivered in presence of the Witnesses the Day and Date above and committed to writing the 3rd May following Witnesses William Craine Charles Clague At a Chapter Court holden at Douglas June 18 1806 The Exorx is sworn in Court in form of Law, & hath given pledges for the payment of debts & Legacies namely witnesses of the will Probatum Est ?????
