At a Chapter Court holden at Lezayre
21st Octobr. 1808
James Kneale of KK Andreas having departed
this Life on or about the 8th day of July last
past Intestate, And the Court having received
Intelligence thereof, hath decreed his five Chil =
= dren namely Catharine, Mary Ann, Jane &
Margaret Kneale Co – Administrators of all &
singular his Goods, Rights, Credits, Chattles
& Effects moveable & immoveable whatever
and the said Children being underage, Ann
Kneale their Mother is sworn Guardian &
Supervisor and in trust for them well and
truly to Administer the Estate of the Intestate –
to exhibit a true and perfect Inventory
thereof unto the Episcopal Registry to pay all
his just debts so far forth as the Goods will
extend and the Law bind her, & to these ends
She hath given Pledges in form of Law
namely William Joughin of Lezayre and
John Kneen of Andreas
