This is affirmed to be the last will and
testament of Jane Creer of the parish of
Jurby she being of a sound disposing
mind memory and understanding did 
on the 22nd day of December 1808 in
presence of us the witnesses declare and
pronounce her last will and testament
in manner and form following and commit-
ed to writing the said day – 
First she committed her soul to God and
her body to Christian burial
Also she left and bequeathed unto Thomas
Vondy of Brettny in the said parish (with
whom she then resided) all her goods and
Effects of whatsoever nature and denomina-
tion whom she also nominated constituted and
appointed sole and whole executor of this her
last will and testament and desired and
requested the said executor to give unto Ann
Cowle of the parish of Ballaugh (widow) whatever
he thought proper at his own discretion

The within testatrix on the 21st of January
1809 expressed and said before the said witnesses
(but not in presence of each other) that she left
and bequeathed unto the said Ann Cowle the 
sum of four guineas and to the said Ann Cowle’s
two sisters one guinea each and to Catharine
Faragher and her son one guinea each
