Episcopal Will E-2 Lonan In the name of God Amen. I Elinor Fargher als Moore of the parish of KK Lonan being sick and weak but of perfect mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of this life do first and principally recom- mend my soul to God who gave it and my body to the Earth to have a decent Christian Burial at the discretion of the Executrix and with such worldly goods as it has Blessed God to possess me with I do devise and Bequeath in the following manner: Item-I leave and bequeath to my Loving Daughter Margaret the sum of Ten pounds Manks a gown a Dark Cotton a brown gown & my best cloath a check Apron a shawl Hankerchief a Callamanks petticoat. Also one guinea each to her four Children Item—I leave and bequeath to my Loving Daughter Elinor the sum of thirty pounds Manks currency a blue gown and a red gown a green petticoat and a red petticoat and green Cotton gown. also one guinea each to here two Children. Item---I leave and Bequeath unto Thos Cowin & wife the sum of Ten Shilling Manks. Item—I leave and Bequeath my loving Husband John Fargher whole and sole Executrix of all the Residue of my Goods Chattles Lands and Effects of whatever denomination disannulling any former will I may have made and verifying and confirming this to be [Page 2] my Last Will and Testament June 15_1810 Witnesses present John Caley Phillip Caley At a Chapter Court holden at Douglas 30th Oct 1810 The Ex'or is sown in Court in form of Law & hath given pledges for the payment of Debts & Legacies namely the Witnesses of the will.
