In the Name of God Amen.

I Ann Cannell of the Parish of Kirk
Michael being weak in body but of sound
and disposing mind, memory and understanding,
and considering the uncertainty of this mortal life,
do make my last will and testament
in manner following.
First - I commit my soul to god and my body
to Christian burial.
Item - I give and bequeath unto my Daughter
Ann Cannell the sum of five pounds mark
and the Cloath-Prefs in the Parlor.
Item - I give and bequeath unto my Daughter
Margaret Cannell the sum of five pounds and the red chest
and also the cow promised to me by my Uncle
Philip Caine as set forth in a paper-writing
dated 1st January, 1791 - and in case my said
Daughter Margt. shall happen to die before
she attain lawful age the the said Legacy
of five pounds chest and cow to become the property
of my said daughter Ann.
Item - I give and bequeath unto my three Daughters
Jane, Ann and Margaret all my apparel
equally between them.
Lastly, I give and bequeath unto my Daughter
Jane Cannell all the rest, residue and remainder
of my Goods,  Rights, Credits, Chattels and
Effects movable and immovable whatever-
and I do nominate and appoint her my said
daughter Jane whole and sole executrix of this
my last will and testament - and I do wish
that John Caine and William Kewley both
of the Village Kirk Michael will undertake
the guardianship of my said daughter Margt.
who is under age - In testimony whereof
I herewith set my mark to my name
this 20th day of March, 1811.

Ann Cannell as and for her last will and testamt.

We the subscribing witnesses to the before going will
of Ann Cannell do hereby affirm the testatrix
did when of sound and disposing mind, memory and
understanding publish and declare in our presence
the following Alteration or Codicil to her said Will.
Verily she revoked the legacy of five pounds
to her daughter Ann  in the said will and bequeath
to her only the Cloath-prefs; she
also farther revoked the Bequest of her Apparel
to her three Daughters  and bequeathed the whole of
her said apparel to her Daughter Margaret. The
above declaration was…….on the 20th day
of Sept. instant and committed to writing this day –
As witness our subscriptions the 28th day of Sept. 1811.

at Kirk Michael the 29th of Oct.
1811.
The exonx to the before written
will and codicil is sworn in court
in form of law, and hath given
pledges for the payment of
Debt and Legacies- namely
the witnesses of the will - and also William Kewley and
John Caine as appointed by
the said will are duty sworn
guardians of the said minor

William Hannay the husband of Jane the Exonx
named in the before going will of Ann Cannell
deceased acknowledges to have received from
Philip Caine, in behalf of Margaret Cannell
the sum of eight pounds British for her use
being in lieu of the cow promised by said
Philip Caine to the said decedent as more
fully expressed in the said will - and doth
exonerate acquit and discharge  the said Philip
Caine his Exors, Admons and Assigns of the
same. - Witness his hand the 11the day of
May 1814.
