The Last Will and testament of Emelia Creer formerly of 
Baldin in KK Braddan but now of Douglas

In the Name of God Amen
I Amelia Creer being weak in Body but of Sound disposing
mind and memory at the making hereof
first I commend my soul to God and my Body to a Christian
Burial as to my worldly Effects I leave and bequeath in 
in manner following
1st  I leave to the poor of KK Braddan four guineas
2nd I leave and bequeath to my Brother James Daughter forty pounds
British namely Elizabeth Cain als Kewley, with all my 
Cloathing made or unmade and all the Cloath I have by
me Linnen or woollen of what kind soever also my
spinning wheel.
3rd I leave and bequeath to my Brother James Daughter 
namely Jane Kewley forty pounds British also feather bed
bolster and pillow.
4th I leave and bequeath to my Brother James Daughter 
namely Catharine Kewley forty pounds British
5th I leave and bequeath to my sister in law Catharine Kewley my sidesadle
6th I leave and bequeath to my Brother James son
namely William one guinea.
7th I leave and bequeath to my Brother James one guinea.
8th I leave and bequeath to my two sisters Elenor and Jane one shilling each.
9th I leave sixpence Legacy to any person or persons that will Claim
any right in or to any of my Effects.
Lastly I ordain nominate and appoint my well beloved 
Grandson William Creer sole and whole Exor of all
the rest of my Effects moveable and unmoveable of what
Kind or Denomination soever and revoke all all other wills
heretofore made words or intentions uttered and Declare this
to be my last Will and witness my name to my mark this 3rd Day
of April 1809 Witnesses present at the signing hereof

Sept 2nd Cath Kewley Executrix of the last
will and Testament of James Kewley decd
