In the Name of God Amen
I Thos Creer: tho being both sound
in Body and in Mind but preventing Lit-
igation and Disputes in Law after my
Decease: I do hereby Declare this to be my
Last Will and Testimant.
I Commit my soul to God and my Body
to a Christian Burial in hope of a happy
resurrection.
and I further more bequeath my 
goods and Effects in the manner following.
Viz. I leave to my beloved Daughter Fifty
pounds (Namely Jane) British money to be
taken from my book debts and stock; and
the Remainder of said book debts and stock I 
leave to my beloved wife late Jane Kelly:
Also she to be Sole Executrix and Guardian
over my daughter Jane; As Witness my 
subscription this 21st of March 1910

The Humble Petition of Jane Creer
of the Town of Douglas Widow

Herewith that Thomas Creer late of the
Town of Douglas departed this life on
the 10th day of December 1811 leaving –
one child.

That the said Thomas Creer before
his departure made his last Will and
Testament in due form and Leaving 
a legacy to his only Child and appointed
your petition sole Executrix and guardian
of said child ----
Wherefore your Petitioner
prays for a speedy hearing
of this Petition and upon
proof of the matter aforesaid
that the said last Will and
Testament of the said Thomas
Creer be received and put
on the Episcopal Registry of
this Isle and your petitioner will
pray yes –

Ordered that this petition do come b???
be heard an Ecclesiastical Court to be holden
at Douglas on the 3rd day of February
whereof all Parties to have seen notice

The Executrix is Sworn in court in form
of Law, as also guardian and Supervisor of the 
child under age & hath given pledges for
the payment of Debts & Legacies namely
Wm Christian of Douglas and John Creer of
