RITSON, Joseph 1811 Ram A 71 0106238 In the Name of God Amen We Joseph Ritson and Hannah Ritson alias Sharpe my wife being both infirm and in decline of years, and has not at present, any person, or to take [care] of us but the one to the other, Do make this our Joint Will and Testament and do revoke all and every other Will, heretofor by any or other of us made. We first Commit ourselves to Almighty God and our bodies to the Earth, to be decently interred at the discretion of the Survivor of us. And for our Worldly Effects we dispose of in the following way and manner Item We jointly leave and bequeath unto Eleanor Thompson, the wife of Joseph Thompson, now residing in Great Brittain the sum of five shillings, to be by her enjoyed at the decease of the Survivor of us Item we also leave and bequeath one to the other all our worldly Effects of what [kind] Denomination or Description whatsoever as will [real] and personal Houses Lands Goods Chattels & Effects with their appurtenances to the longer liver or Survivor of us as aforesaid enjoyed and at our free and undoubted disposal And lastly We Nominate Constitute and Appoint our only Daughter Mary the wife of William [Wilkinson] Whole and sole Executrix of all and every our Goods Effects Cash Credits Houses lands -- that we or the survivor of us may have or be entitled to at the decease of the death of the longer liver of us as aforesaid.
