In the name of God Amen.
I Ann Cottier widow of  Thos Cottier of the Rowany in the parish of Kirk
Christ Rushen. To enjoy a good state of health at present but considering
the certainty of death and the uncertainty of this mortal life do make
this my last will and testament in manner following;
First I commit my soul to Almighty God and my body to Christian burial.
Second I leave and bequeath to my daughter Margaret wife to John Gell
five pounds British and also to my daughter Elizabeth wife to William
Bell five pounds British.
Thirdly I leave to my three daughters namely Elizabeth Margaret and
Mary all my wearing apparel.
Fourthly I leave to my two grand children Ann Clague and Ann Gawne one
guinea each.
Fifthly I leave to my grand daughter Ann Gell one blue and white feather
bed and bolster, quilt, blanket, and sheet.
Sixthly I leave to Catharine Woodworth a large oak chest that is in the
house.
Seventhly I leave to my son Thos Cottier and to my two daughters namely Ann
Clague and Jane Gawne two shillings and six pence British each and likewise
to all claimers that shall pretend to claim any right or title in
this my last will and testament two shillings and six pence British each.
Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my daughter Mary Crebbin also
Cottier to be whole and sole executor of all the rest of my goods and
effects moveable and immoveable whatsoever.
In witness hereof I have hereunto set my name and mark this 13th day of Feb
