In the Name of God Amen I Margaret Rogers alias Cannell (widowed) of the
Parish of Kk Michael being of Sound and disposing Mind Memory and
Understanding Do Make my last Will and Testament in manner following—
First I commit my Soul to God and Body to Christian burial
Secondly I give and bequeath to my beloved children, namely Catharine,
Margaret, Anne, and William Shimmin a feather Bed each and I also give and
bequeath to my beloved Son John the Clock and the whole of my Lands Situate
in the Parish of Michael aforesaid   he paying his Sisters and brother the
said Catharine, Margaret, Anne, and Thomas the sum of Thirty pounds each to
be paid his sisters when he my said son John arrives at the age of
Twentythree Years and the sum of Fifteen pounds british to be paid by him
to his sd brother Thomas when he Thomas is fifteen years old for the
purpose of sending him to a Trade and the other fifteen pounds brit: at the
time my said Son John is to pay his sisters the Sd sum of thirty pounds
brit: each and also to find him his sd brother Thomas Clothes and all other
necessaries during the term of his apprenticeship
Thirdly I give and bequeath to my sd beloved Daughters Catharine Margaret
and Ann, all the Rest Residue and remainder of my Goods, Rights, Credits,
Chattels, and Effects moveable and immoveable whatever
Lastly I nominate, constitute and appoint my said son William Shimmin and
Thomas Skillicorn of the parish of Michl aforesaid whole and sole executors
of this my last will and Testament In Witness whereof I have herewith set
my mark to my name this the 27th day of April 1818
