In the name of God Amen.
I Silvester Callow Shopkeeper in the town of Douglas duly recollecting
the uncertainty of this transitory life being of sound mind and memory
and in ------- health do publish and declare as follows to be my last
will and testament.
First I commit my soul to God and my body to Christian burial.
Secondly I leave and bequeath to my niece Jane Callow one hundred
pounds British (as my god daughter)
Thirdly I leave and bequeath to my niece Amelia Callow one hundred
pounds British.
Fourthly I leave unto all lawful claimers six pence each.
Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my brother George Callow executor
of all the rest of my goods chattels and effects movable and immovable of
what kind or nature soever in witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my
name this 1st day of January 1808.   Silvester Callow

George Callow the executor having declined executorship the William
Banks and John Lawrey of Douglas both Merchants are sworn executors in trust
of the same with pledges being George Callow and James Robinson. We William
Banks and John Lawrey of the town of Douglas co administrators of the estate
of Silvester Callow deceased  do hereby certify that we have not been able
to discover any personal assets or effects belonging to the private estate
of the said Silvester Callow.  As witness our subscriptions this 30th day of
July one thousand and eight hundred and twenty three.   John Lawry and
William Banks
At Ramsey 31st July 1823:  Returned by the above administrators.
