In the Name of God Amen
I Thomas Kneale Junr Late of Kirk Lonnan But now of the Town of Douglas
being of sound Mind and Memory at the Making Hereof do make this my Last
will and Testament in the following Manner
First I Committ and commend my soul to God and My Body to Christian Burial
I Leave and Bequeath unto my Wife Elinor Kneale alias Carran the sum of
five shillings
I Leave unto my sister Ann Kneale the sum of Ten pounds British
I Leave unto all persons that hath or have any Right or title to any of my
Goods or Effects the sum of five shillings Each
Lastly I Leave and Bequeath unto my Father Thomas Kneale Senr All the
Residue of my moneys ­ goods and Effects and Also I Nominate & Constitute
The said Thomas Kneale Whole and sole Executor of This my Last will and
Testament this 12 (14?) Th Day of Jany 1818

The exor is sworn in court in form of Law and hath given pledges for the
payment of debts & Legacies namely William Cannell of Douglas and Daniel
