1                  Lonan
In the name of God Amen, the sixth day of August 1817 I Thomas Skillicorn
of the Parish of Lonnan being sick and weak of body but of sound mind
memory & understanding do make this my last will and Testament, that is to
say principally and first of all I commend my Soul to God & my body to a
Christian Burial — and for my worldly goods I dispose of them in manner
following
Secondly, I leave and bequeath my mouse and garden, to my mother Margaret
Skillicorn, with all right and title thereto
Thirdly I leave and bequeath sixpence as Legacy to any person or persons
who will claim them in my will
Lastly I leave and bequeath, to my mother Margaret Skillicorn aforesaid all
my goods moveable or immoveable of what sort nature or denomination so ever
they be, ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will &
testament whereunto I have set my name to my mark this day and year above
written

At a Chapter Court holden in Douglas 15 May 1821
Thomas Skillicorn of the parish of Lonan having departed this life sometime
ago, and previously made his last will & Testament nominating no executor
or executrix thereto, and the court having received intelligence thereof
hath decreed his mother Margaret Skillicorn sole admorx with the said will
annexed of all & singular his effects & she is thereupon sworn well & truly
to admin to the estate of her son cum testamento annexo   to exhibit
inventory & pay debts & to these ends she hath given pledges in form of law
namely James Moore of Lonan & Daniel Kelly one of the witnesses
