In the name of God Amen.  I Jane Clark otherwise Corlett wife of James Clark
of Aust in the parish of Lezayre considering the uncertainty of this
transitory life do make my last will and testament in manner following.
First I commit my soul to God and body to Christian burial.
I bequeath to my son James, John, and Peter Clark five shillings British
each as legacy.
To my son Thomas Clark the bed he sleeps on and five shillings. William,
Ewan, and Daniel the beds they sleep on and five shillings each.
It is to be understood that it is her own parts of said beds and how meant.
To all my daughters five shillings each.  To my daughter Judy all my apparel
whatever.
And lastly I nominate, constitute, and appoint my said husband James Clark
sole and whole executor and residuary legatee of this my last will and
testament.  This 9th Sep 1817.    Jane Clark my x mark

The Executor is sworn in court in form of Law and hath given pledges for the
