16 Douglas Know all men by these presents That I William Skillicorn of the Town of Douglas Divers Good Causes me hereunto Moving but Chiefly and more Especially for the Love and Effection that I have and bear unto Elizabeth Skillicorn alias Kewley My wife Have Given Granted Gifted and made over and for the sum of five shillings to me in hand paid by at and from the hands of Elizabeth Skillicorn my wife, Have therefore Given Granted Gifeted settled and makeover unto her the said Elizabeth Skillicorn my wife all and singular to my whole Right tittle and Interest of a Certain Dwelling House and yard bequeathed by John Kewley my father in law upon my sd wife which concerns being situate in Drum Gold street in the Town of Douglas upon her hairs Execrs adminrs and assigns togather with all other goods and Chattles moveable and imoveable of all Kinds and nature whatsoever belonging to Me and as a Legacy I leave and bequeath unto my Brothers and sisters the sum of two shillings and sixpence Each and also to Each Claimer I leave one shilling Lagacy Lastly I order and appoint my Loving Wife Elizabeth Skillicorn alias Kewley to be whole and sole Executrix of this My last will and testament and also to Enjoy and possess the before mentioned Concerns and at her own Disposal as witness my hand this fourteenth day of November in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight hundred and twenty two 1822 Wm Skillicorn Witnesses present at signing hereof John Quirk Thos White Jur At a Chapter Court holden in Douglas 2 June 1823 the Exerx is sworn in Court in form of Law & hath given pledges for the payment of Debts & Legacies namely the Witnesses of the Will Probatum est T Stephen
