Malew 21

The last will and Testament of 
Ann Creer Widow of Ballasalla 
In the parish of Malew who being
Weak in body but of Sound and perfect
Mind and memory at the making 
Hereof do hereby make this my last
Will and Testament as followeth:-
First I commit my soul to God and my
Body to a Christian Burial.
I leave and bequeath to my daughter
Easter Currie alias Creer Ten shillings
And sixpence British
And I leave and bequeath to the said
Easter Currie and her Husband Thos Currie
The amount of a certain Note of Seven
Pounds British with all the interest that may
Be due on the same.
I leave and bequeath to my Daughter Ann
Clague alias Creer the sum of Ten Shillings
And sixpence British
I leave and bequeath to my Daughter Sarah
Creer the sum of Ten Shillings and six
Pence British.
I leave to my Daughter Isabella Karran
Alias Creer the sum of Ten Shillings and 
sixpence British. 
I leave and bequeath to my Daughter Elizabeth
Garrett alias Creer the sum of two shillings and 
sixpence British. 
I leave and bequeath to Sarah Currie
My Grand daughter the little white
Chest or box.
Lastly I Nominate, constitute and appoint
My loving and dutiful daughter Frances
Creer to be my whole and sole executor of
All my share of the House and Garden and
Butt and all the rest of my Goods moveable
And immoveable of what
Kind or nature soever hereby revoking
And disannulling all former will or
Willa by me made and this to be my 
Only Settlement and Testament in
Testimony whereof I have hereunto set
My Mark to my Name this the 22 
Day of November 1825. Ann Creer alias Quinney my X

At a Chapter court holden in
Castletown on the 9th day of December 1825
Frances Creer the Executrix named in the
foregoing will is sworn Executrix in ???? 
in form of law well and truly to ?????
last will and testament of Ann Creer
deceased to pay out her just debts, bequests 
and funeral expenses so far forth as the
goods will extend and the law binds
her and to return  a full true and perfect
inventory. ??? proceeding in the
promises unto the Archdeacon’s Registry
of this Island when thereunto lawfully
required and to perform all other
enclosed things ???? appertaining 
to the office of Executrix and to these
ends Paul Bridson of the parish of
Malew and Robert Cowley one of the
Witnesses of the will have entered into
Bond unto the Lord Bishop and his
Successors in the sum of forty pounds
British bearing ????? herewith
Probate hereof is granted unto the said
Frances Creer.
