At an Eccl Court holden at Milltown the 17th May 1826
Robert Allen of the parish of Andreas having departed this life on or about
the 25th of April intestate the court having received intelligence thereof
hath decreed his six children namely Thomas, William, Esther, Jane,
Catharine and Ann Allen co-administrators of all and singular his goods
rights credits chattels and effects moveable and immoveable whatever.
The said children being all under age their mother Jane Allen declining the
administration and praying that her brother William Radcliffe may be
appointed administrator in trust whereupon the said William Radcliffe is
sworn guardian of the said children and in trust for them well and truly to
administer the estate of the intestate to exhibit a full true and perfect
inventory thereof into the Episcopal Registry to pay all his just debts so
far forth as the goods will extend and the law bind him and to be
accountable for his administration when thereunto lawfully required and to
these ends he hath given pledges in form of law namely William Kneale of
Ballabeg and William Sayle Lairybane both of Andreas
               Decretum Est          Thos cubbon
At Milltown The Rev'd John Nelson Vicar of St Ann is sworn guardian and
supervisor of the deceadent's children.
