In the name of God Amen I James Creer of 
KK Braddan being of sound mind memory and 
understanding, do ordain and appoint this for my
last Will and Testament as follows.-

First  I commit my soul to God and my body 
unto a Christian burial
I leave and bequeath unto Elizabeth Freer Daughter 
of John Freer of KK Braddan all my purchased 
Lands and Houses to be possessed by her when she shall
arrive unto the age of twenty one years, reserving
the profits and issues thereof unto my Executor 
hereafter mentioned until that time on condition
that she is to pay my Neice Ann Creer
Daughter of the late Patrick Creer (my Brother)
the annual sum of Three pounds british
commencing at the time she possesses the said land
for and during the Natural lifetime of her the
said Ann Creer
I leave and bequeath unto my Neice Catherine
Corlet wife of Thomas Corlet of KK Braddan
the sum of Twelve Pounds british
I leave and bequeath to my Neice Elizabeth Cannel
Wife of William Cannel of Ballawoillen in KK
Braddan the sum of Twelve Pounds British
I leave and bequeath unto my Neice Elinor Creer
the sum of Twelve Pounds British
I leave and bequeath to the six daughters of 
John Freer viz Jane, Catharine, Isabella, Mary,
Margaret, and Elinor Freer the sum of Thirty
Pounds each to be paid them as they shall arrive
to the age of Twenty one years successively reser-
ving the interest thereof to my Executor until 
that time --- To any person that might claim
any right to my Effects I leave one shilling Legacy
and Lastly I nominate and appoint John Freer
before mentioned whole and sole Executor of this
my last will and testament and residuary 
Legatee of all the rest of my goods and Effects
moveable and immoveable of what name kind 
and nature soever as witness my subscription 
this 2nd day of February 1826  James Creer

At a Chapter Court holden at 
Douglas on the 22nd day of May 1829
John Freer the Executor in the foregoing 
will named is sworn in Court in 
form of Law well and truly to execute 
the Last Will and Testament of James
Creer deceased to pay all his just 
Debts, Legacies and funeral expenses
so far as the goods and chattels will
extend and the Law binds him, and
to do all other things pertaining to 
the Office of Executor according to Law.
And to these ends Thomas Caine and 
Matts Caine both of Braddan have
entered into a bond unto the Lord
Bishop and his successors in the
sum of Five Hundred pounds British
Probatum est

Know all men, by presents that We Thos Cain 
of 
the Parish of Braddan and
Matts Cain of
the Parish of Braddan are held and firmly bound
to William, Lord Bishop of Sodor and Mann, and his successors, in the 
Sum of Five Hundred pounds
British; to the Payment whereof well and truly to be made, we bind 
Ourselves, our Heirs, Executors, Administrators, and Assigns, jointly and 
severally, by thee presents, to the said LORD BISHOP and his Successors.
Witness our Subscriptions, this
22 day of May 1829

Whereas the Ecclesiastical Court of this Diocese hath this Day
granted Probate of the last will and testament
of Thomas Creer 
deceased to John Freer
 
NOW THE CONDITION of the above obligation is such that if the said
John Freer
shall well and truly administer the Estate and Effects of the said
deceased and shall
in all things relating thereto conform to the Laws of this Isle, the Orders
of the Ecclesiastical Courts thereof and the oath they
hath this day taken, then the foregoing obligation to be void, otherway
to be and remain in full force and virtue in Law
