          Arbory
In the name of God Amen.
The last will and testament of Elender Cotcher of Belladool in the parish
of Arbory.  She being of sound disposing mind and memory at the making here
of but considering the uncertainty of human life is as follows:
First I commend my soul to God and my body to Christian burial. Secondly
I leave and bequeath unto my three daughters Elender Bridson, Jane Keeben,
and Margret Corrin two shillings and six pence British a piece. Thirdly I
leave and bequeath unto my daughter Catherine Qualtrough all
my wearing cloaths.
Fourthly I leave and bequeath unto Elebeth Moore one pound British.
Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my only son William Cotcher
whole and sole executor of all the rest of money goods chattels and effects
of what kind or denomination whatsoever excluding and debarring every other
person that have a right to sue for the same with one
shilling legacy this 1st day of October 1829.

At a Chapter Court holden at Castletown on Wednesday the 3rd of November
1830.
The exor is sworn in court in form of law and hath given pledges for the
payment of debts and legacies namely William Corrin of the parish of Rushen
and John Taylor of Malew.  Probatum est  John Nelson and B. Philpot.
