1830 Lezayre 1 To The Reverend John Nelson Vicar General The Humble Petition of Thomas Kanan of Peel Sheweth That Thomas Corlett of the Claddagh in the Parish of Lezayre sometime ago departed this life and the said Thomas Corlett at the time of such his decease stood largely indebted to your petitioner That no person has administered to the Estate of the said Thos Corlett and in consequence of certain [Lull] in proceedings non-pending between the widow of this Thomas Corlett and the heir at law your petitioner is apprehensive and has just reason to learn that the Estate will be squandered between them and the creditors deprived of their just debts That your petitioner does humbly submit that Daniel Christian Esq, Sumner General or some other fit and proper person shoud be sworn Administrator in Trust of the Estate of the said Thomas Corlett [?pendente lite?] in Order to secure the property for The benefit of the creditors Wherefore your Petr humbly prays a hearing of this petition and that your Reverence may be pleased to swear theasd Daniel Christian or some other proper person as Administrator of the Estate of theasd Thos Corlett decd and Petr will pray W [H..m.by] for Petr Ordered that the petitioner do come on to be heard at a Court to be [holden] in Ramsey on Friday the 22nd Inst.
