In the name of God. Amen
I Jane Cottier of the parish of Lezayre, widow
of William Cottier late of Narridal in said parish,
Being weak in body but of sound mind
memory and understanding do proceed
to make this my last Will and Testament in
manner following.
First, I commit my soul to God and my
Body to Christian Burial.
Secondly, I leave to my daughter Catherine
all my Goods, Cash, Credits and Effects
whom I also nominate constitute and
appoint whole and sole Executrix of 
this my Will and of all and singular 
any Goods, Chattels and Effects moveable and 
immoveable of what kind or nature soever,
leaving to any person or persons claiming
under this my Will, sixpence Legacy –
In which whereof I hereunto subscribe
my name this 24th day of November 1824.

At a Chapter Court holden at 
Ramsey on the 21st May 1830
John Kissack Williamson, husband of 
Catherine Williamson als Cottier, the Executrix
in the foregoing Will named, is sworn
Executor in Court in form of Law, well
and truly to execute the Last Will and 
Testament of Jane Cottier deceased, to pay
all her just Debts, Legacies and funeral 
expences so far as the goods and Effects
will extend and the Law bind him.
And to these ends, John Corlett xxxx?
and William Cottier both of the Parish 
of Lezayre have entered into a bond unto
the Lord Bishop of Sodor and Mann in the
sum of fifty pounds British.

Know all Men by these presents, that We, John Corlett
Of the Parish of Lezayre  and William Cottier  of the 
Parish of Lezayre are held and firmly bound
to William, Lord Bishop of Sodor and Mann, and his Successors,
in the Sum of Fifty pounds British; 
to the Payment whereof well and truly to be made, we bind
Ourselves, our Heirs, Executors, Administrators, and Assigns, jointly and
severally, by these presents, to the said Lord Bishop and his Successors.
Witness our Subscriptions, this 21st day of May 1830

Whereas the ECCLESIASTICAL COURT of this Island hath this Day
granted probate of the last Will and Testament of 
Jane Cottier deceased, to John Kissack Williamson
Now the Condition of the above Obligation is such, that if the said
Executor shall well and truly administer the Estate and Effects of the said
Deceadent and shall in all Things relating thereto conform to the Laws of this Isle, the Orders
of the Ecclesiastical Courts thereof, and the Oath he hath this day taken,
then the foregoing Obligation to be void, otherway
to be and remain in full force and virtue in Law.
