          Arbory
In the name of God Amen.
This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Michael Cottier of
the parish of KK Arbory who was of sound mind and memory but weak in body at
the making hereof.
First He committed his soul to Almighty God and his body to the earth
and Christian burial.
Item:  He leaves unto Elizabeth Comish als Keig the wife of William
Comish the bed that she lies on and bed clothes.
Lastly He nominated and appointed his beloved son William to be his
whole and sole executor of all the rest of his goods and effects moveable
and immoveable of what kind or nature whatsoever excluding and
debarring all other relations with 6 pence legacy  that claims any right
in his effects this the 31st March 1831.

John Bridson

At a Chapter Court holden at Castletown 19th October 1831.  The executor is
sworn in court in form of law and hath given pledges for the payment of
debts and legacies namely William Clague of Rushen and John Bridson of Kirk
Arbory.  Probatum Est
