In the name of God Amen.
I Charles Cannell of Shalghaige in the parish of KK Michael being weak in
body but of sound and disposing mind at making this my last will and
testament in manner and form following.
I commit my soul to God and my body to Christian burial.
I leave and bequeath to my daughter Catharine the house where by
brother William Cannell lives with the two fields adjoining namely the
meadow under the liargy and the upper face and small plot named the little
stockyard adjoining said fields but that my beloved wife Catherine Cannell
is to hold possession and enjoy the benefit of said lands during
her natural life or while she continued in my name.
I leave and bequeath to my daughter Ann Cannell ten shillings as legacy. I
constitute nominate ordain and appoint my beloved wife Catharine
Cannell whole and sole executrix of all the rest of my goods credits
chattels and effects of what kind or nature soever cutting off and debarring
all claimers with one shillings legacy witness my name this
14th November 1832.    Charles Cannell

At a Chapter Court holden at KK Michael on the 23rd of May 1833
Notwithstanding this will is proved but by one witness yet as no
objection is offered Catherine Cannell the executrix in the foregoing will
named is sworn in court in form of law well and truly to execute the last
will and testament of Charles Cannell deceased - to pay all his just
debts and legacies so far as the goods and effects will extend and the
law bind her and to do all other acts and things pertaining to the office
of executrix according to law and to these ends she has given pledges namely
Philip Quiggin one of the witnesses of the will and William
Cannell of the parish of KK Michael
